Santa Fe's New Culinary Highlight: The Foodie Classic
Santa Fe has long been a haven for enthusiasts of innovative modern and traditional cuisine. We're excited to introduce the inaugural Santa Fe Foodie Classic, a three-day event from January 15–17, 2016. The Grand Tasting is scheduled for January 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The festivities begin at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa with a "7 Deadly Sins" dinner, featuring seven gourmet courses crafted by Executive Chef Tony Smith, each paired with complementary wines. Expect world-class Flamenco performances, stunning venue design, and a celebration of New Mexico's vibrant flavors.
On Sunday, January 17, the Santa Fe School of Cooking hosts a morning demonstration, followed by an afternoon three-course secret basket competition among three top local chefs selected from Grand Tasting participants. For tickets and details, visit www.santafefoodieclassic.com.

Who Will Claim Victory at the 2016 Souper Bowl?
The 22nd annual Souper Bowl, benefiting The Food Depot—Northern New Mexico's food bank—takes place Saturday, January 30, 2016, from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. Attendees vote for Santa Fe's best soups from top restaurants, enjoy silent auction items, and purchase a cookbook with recipes from renowned chefs.
Competitions include Best Cream Soup, Best Savory Soup, Best Seafood Soup, and Best Vegetarian Soup, with all vying for overall Best Soup. It's the perfect way to warm up on a chilly January day in Santa Fe.

WinterBrew Festival: Craft Beer and Comfort Food
Craft beer lovers won't want to miss WinterBrew 2016, the New Mexico Brewers Guild's fifth annual festival pairing intimate tastings with comfort foods. Its popularity has expanded it to two days.
Each night features unique brewers and chefs, including restaurants like Blue Corn Brewery, Piñon Pub, Derailed, and Second Street Brewery.
