Giraffe Manor Kenya: Unforgettable Breakfasts with Rothschild Giraffes

Breakfast with a giraffe? Discover an extraordinary experience.

This enchanting video will leave you beaming and inspired to visit Kenya's iconic Giraffe Manor.

Nestled on 12 acres of private land in Nairobi, Giraffe Manor stands as one of Kenya's premier properties. It provides travelers with an authentic wildlife adventure, home to a herd of endangered Rothschild giraffes that roam freely and often extend their long necks through windows for treats.

Purchased by Betty and Jock Leslie-Melville in 1974, the manor transformed into a sanctuary, rescuing Kenya's remaining Rothschild giraffes from slaughter. Today, it functions as a luxury hotel and vital breeding program to support the species' recovery. The adjacent Giraffe Centre, managed by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW), educates guests on conservation efforts.

All stays feature giraffe feeding opportunities, complimentary Wi-Fi, opulent accommodations, full meals, and select beverages.

I also thought it was a terrible shame that topographical maps never show you exactly where the ravenous, five-metre crocodiles live. Australia’s Kimberley wilderness is the perfect place for an epic adventure. With a total area three times the size of England and a perma
