Tucked away in the Chattahoochee National Forest, River Campground is a popular camping destination that will provide you with a truly memorable camping experience. We are conveniently located off Highway 441 in Lakemont, Georgia and we offer full lodging options for everyone. Our options include Tent Campsites, RV sites, two Rustic Chateau and a River Cabin.

Covered Docks: These docks are very private, making your tent or RV just like having your own cabin on the river - only for much less. They are located in a prime trout area. Our covered docks will save your outing if it rains.

Cabins on the river: This unique cabin extends over the beautiful Tallulah River, viewing fish and nature. The first floor is a large open area with a picnic table, food prep area and a bathroom. It is located near our recreation building where we have ping pong, bimini ring toss, screened book and game room and much more. This cabin is referred to as the " Chalet".Train Ride: This FREE ride is 5 miles to Mathis Dam, beaver dams, Disney film site-tunnel, 2 whitewater rivers, old bridge & train trussels, ghost town and borders beautiful Tallulah River and Tiger River, showing great trout fishing holes. Available on holidays or by reservation for groups.
