With paintings of renowned Madison landmarks, specially designed bath amenities, custom furniture created by local artisans and peerless service, each room and suite at The James Madison Inn brings local lore and Southern charm to life for each and every guest. The James Madison Inn is a smoke- and pet-free facility.


The Spa at The James Madison Inn provides world-class relaxing and therapeutic treatments at affordable prices. The Spa at The James Madison Inn is an Aveda Concept Spa, meaning the products used with treatments and sold within, are of stellar performance. Aveda products are award-winning, environmentally sustainable, and all natural.


James Madison Hall, our grand salon, offers 2,400 square feet of space with theater-style seating. This room is open and spacious, featuring a raised stage and a variety of lighting options. We also offer first class catering services. For a more intimate setting, The Daniel Morgan Room offers 1,000 square feet of space. This space is perfect for a smaller business conference or private party. Both conference spaces connect with double doors, and open onto a beautifully landscaped grass lawn amphitheater with a large, outdoor patio area overlooking the famed Round Bowl Spring Park and pond.
