This US Army Corps of Engineers managed campground is located in Buford off Buford Dam Road. Its amenities include: campsites with and without hookups, showers, dumpstation, restrooms, laundry, picnic tables, a picnic pavilion, boat ramp, and a swim area. Shoal Creek Campground also has group area sites that can be reserved. Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-444-6777 or on the web at www.recreation.gov. Campsite occupancy is limited to a maximum of 8 people and 3 vehicles. Pets must be kept on a leash not exceeding 6 feet in length. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
