A large shelter house adjacent to the park comfortably accommodates 250–300 guests, and features grills and power outlets for convenient use. For anglers, Bert T. Combs Lake is a short walk away, offering excellent fishing opportunities.

The hillside also hosts the final resting place of former Kentucky Governor Bert T. Combs, adding a historic touch to the serene environment.
