Stone Mountain Boat Dock features a 219‑acre, steam‑fed lake that attracts anglers with rainbow trout, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and channel catfish. The dock operates 24 hours a day, year‑round, offering primitive camping, boat rentals, slips, picnic sites, public restrooms, a telephone, a bait shop, and concessions.

Surrounding the lake, 2,000 acres of mountain provide abundant hunting and hiking trails. The property is owned and managed by Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.
