Set in the scenic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Dahlonega's newest walking tour offers a unique opportunity to experience both the food and culture of North Georgia. "Savoring the Square" will captivate you with visits to our finest restaurants and tasting rooms, each with its own unique flavor and history. Enjoy the sites and tastes of North Georgia's most scenic town as we explore the nooks and crannies of our famous and nationally registered Dahlonega Square. The tour includes five to seven stops to culinary heaven, as well as visits to local artists, historical landmarks, century old architecture and local music venues.

The tour covers just under a mile and begins at 19 East Main Street on the upstairs porch. Enjoy the view! Since the tour is approximately three hours, we recommend you wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Adults should be sure to bring ID for stops where alcohol may be offered.
