Built in the 1940s as the Centennial Mill Flour Company, Alexander Hall houses the painting department. Open 24 hours per day, it features classrooms, a critique area, graduate painting studios, formal and informal exhibition spaces, an acid room, a grounds room, a dark room, a ceramic room and woodshop.

Alexander Hall is also home to the Alexander Hall Gallery, which rotates exhibitions and features open studio events that allow students to show and sell their work.
